One possible solution for problems logging into ClickOnDetroit is clearing your browser data. Along with resetting our log-in process, it's also a smart way to maintain privacy and free up storage space.  Over time, browsers accumulate temporary files, cookies, browsing history, and other data that can slow down your browsing experience or compromise your privacy. Whether you're using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, or any other web browser, here's a step-by-step guide on how to clear your browser data:

Google Chrome:

1. Click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the browser window.
2. Hover over "More tools" and select "Clear browsing data."
3. In the pop-up window, choose the time range you want to clear (e.g., last hour, last 24 hours, last 7 days, etc.). If you want to clear all data, select "All time."
4. Tick the checkboxes next to the types of data you want to delete, such as browsing history, cookies, cached images and files, and more.
5. Click on the "Clear data" button to initiate the process.

Mozilla Firefox:

1. Click on the three-line menu icon in the top-right corner (hamburger menu).
2. Select "Library" from the drop-down menu, then click on "History" and "Clear Recent History."
3. In the pop-up window, choose the time range you want to clear or select "Everything" to clear all data.
4. Expand the details section and check the boxes for the data you wish to remove (e.g., browsing & download history, cookies, cache, etc.).
5. Click on the "Clear Now" button to begin the deletion process.

Microsoft Edge:

1. Click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner (ellipsis).
2. Scroll down and click on "Settings."
3. Under "Privacy, search, and services," click on "Choose what to clear."
4. Select the data you want to remove, such as browsing history, cookies, cached data, and more.
5. Click on the "Clear" button to initiate the process.

Safari (macOS):

1. Click on "Safari" in the top menu bar.
2. Select "Clear History..." from the drop-down menu.
3. Choose the time range you want to clear or select "all history" to remove all data.
4. Click on the "Clear History" button to confirm.

Safari (iOS):

1. Open the "Settings" app on your iOS device.
2. Scroll down and tap on "Safari."
3. Scroll down again and tap on "Clear History and Website Data."
4. Confirm your choice by tapping "Clear History and Data."

Note: Keep in mind that clearing your browser data will sign you out of most websites, and some preferences, like website login information, might be lost. However, it's a good practice to do this regularly, especially on public or shared devices, to safeguard your privacy.

Remember, the steps provided are based on the latest versions of the browsers at the time of writing. Browsers may update their user interfaces or settings in the future, so make sure to adapt accordingly.

Additionally, consider updating your browser to the latest version for optimal performance and security.
